The Right Choice for Stark County!
I ran for Stark County Commissioner because I am passionate about the area we live. I want Stark County to be a great place to live, work, raise families and run our farms and businesses.
I am a livelong resident of Stark County. I was born and raised on a farm south of Richardton, educated and graduated from Richardton High School and Dickinson State University.

My wife Bonnie and I have three daughters and three grandchildren.

I started my real estate career in 1979 and have been active in all phases of the real estate business, with emphasis on real estate sales, property management, and residential construction.

I have been active in a number of civic and professional organizations on local, state, and national levels. I have served as the President of the Badlands Board of Realtors and the North Dakota Association of Realtors, eventually working my way to serving as a Director for the National Association of Realtors (NAR), which is a trade organization of almost 1.4 million members.
I currently serve as a federal policy coordinator for NAR. In addition, I have been active in agricultural organizations, such as the North Dakota Grain Growers Association and the North Dakota Farm Bureau.
I am excited for the opportunity to go to work for you. I view the role of a county commissioner as being the caretaker of all public policy issues.
As we look forward, there are going to be a number of challenges on the horizon that will have to be dealt with, and I feel my business experiences, and leadership philosophy, that my positions best match those of the residents of Stark County
